Roderick Braxton director/ instructor of the Appliance Repair Academy department. Rod Braxton is an American businessman that has owned and operated a variety of companies over the past 15 years. With appliance sales and services at the core of his business acumen. Rod also has experience and a specific interest with mentoring and equipping at-risk youth and ex -offenders with vocational training skills. With a specific goal in mind to reduce recidivism.

Volunteer:
Rod started Apprentice Village in his small appliance repair shop in Slavic Village a low income community in Cleveland Ohio. Utilizing the philosophy of “each one teach one ” He volunteered his time teaching local kids and unemployed adults the appliance repair and sales business. There are some success stories! Apprentice Village also offered services to area halfway houses in Cleveland such as Oriana house and Salvation Army Harbor lights. After 6 years of this volunteer work Rod created the Appliance Repair Academy. The Appliance repair Academy has formed an Alliance with Vermillion technical institute to offer Appliance Repair training to students across the world.
Hobbies:
Rod enjoys the outdoors, traveling, playing chess and scrabble.
