Geoff Lin
Geoff Lin, President Vermilion Institute of Technology was born in a beautiful waterfront city in Northeast China.
Graduated with a major in Chinese Language.
- 1970s: Renowned radio announcer, journalist and host of large-scale galas and sporting events.
- 1980s: Worked in education as the President of a career and technical college; graduate employment rate reached 92.4%.
- 2005: Immigrated to Alberta, Canada where he founded the Alberta Electrical Vocational Training Center. While leading this organization 96.8% of graduates passed the electrician certification test. Achievements led to solving the market shortage of electricians while improving graduates’ income and their quality of life.
- 2012: Founded a private high school in Vermilion, Ohio.
- 2013: Founded the Vermilion Institute of Technology.
On a personal note, Geoff Lin:
- Enjoys writing and between 1995 – 2006 wrote and had over 960 articles published .
- Enjoys sports and was the captain of his high school track and field team.
- Studied Chinese Medicine under a well-known doctor and has the ability to use Chinese herbal medicines for treatment of common illnesses / diseases.
